Public project tracking, done right

Show your community exactly
what you're building.

Project Explorer turns your project list into a branded website and native mobile app — a live map, real budgets and timelines, and instant updates — so the people who care about your projects can actually follow them.

What residents actually see.

Why teams choose it

One platform, built to be seen.

Whether you're a city department, a school district, a contractor, or a growing business — if you're running projects people care about, this is how they follow along.

01

Fully white-labeled

Your logo, your colors, your fonts, your domain. Visitors see your organization's brand, never ours.

02

Built for how you work

Every field, status, and category is configurable — not hardcoded. Use the language your team already uses.

03

No IT department required

Staff manage everything from a clean dashboard. No developers, no tickets, no waiting on someone else.

04

One login, unlimited reach

The same project data powers your website, iOS app, and Android app. Update once — it's live everywhere.

For the people watching

Real project detail,
not a press release.

Every project lives on a live map and a searchable, filterable list — sorted by status, category, or distance from wherever someone's standing. Tap in and they get the whole picture.

  • Photos, budgets, and real dates. Galleries, budget vs. actual cost, planned vs. actual timeline, contact info, and linked documents — everything a curious visitor wants.
  • "Near me" GPS sorting. On web and in the native apps, sort the list by distance from wherever the visitor actually is.
  • Multilingual out of the box. A built-in translation widget lets any visitor read your site in their own language — zero extra work for your team.
  • Works on a weak signal. Recently-viewed projects stay available offline — handy for someone standing at the actual job site.

On every device

Native apps, and a link
that actually opens them.

Not just a mobile-friendly website — a real, installable Project Explorer app where residents can find and follow every organization that's listed in it. Want an app branded just for you? We can build one under your own Apple and Google developer accounts.

  • "Notify me" project subscriptions. Anyone can follow a project and get an automatic, tenant-branded email the moment it's updated — no more checking back.
  • Share and discover. One-tap native sharing sends a real working link — tap it from a text or social post and it opens straight into the app.
  • Built to be found. Every project page is search-engine ready, so people searching Google for your project can find it directly.
COMING SOON

Push notifications, straight to the phone.

The same subscription someone sets up today will soon trigger an instant push notification the moment a project changes — the fastest, most direct way to keep your community or customers in the loop without them lifting a finger.

For your team

A real project workspace, not a spreadsheet.

Everything your team needs to keep the public site accurate, without ever touching code.

Manage projects properly

  • Rich-text descriptions, photo galleries, PDF uploads, and external links
  • Automatic budget-vs-actual comparisons once a project wraps
  • Planned and actual dates for accurate historical reporting

Make it yours

  • Rename, reorder, require, or hide any built-in field
  • Add custom fields — text, numbers, dates, dropdowns — no code
  • Your own statuses and categories, each with its own color

Map it accurately

  • Google Maps-powered, with simple points or full boundary areas
  • Fine-grained control over what layers and points of interest show
  • Your own default pin colors, per category or per project

Brand it everywhere

  • Upload your logo, favicon, and a default project image
  • Set colors, fonts, and site name once — applies to web and both apps
  • No design or dev work needed to keep it consistent

Trust your access controls

  • Admins and editors, with permission boundaries that make sense
  • A full audit log of every change — who edited what, and when
  • Invite staff by email; they set their own password

Know what's working

  • At-a-glance stats across your whole project portfolio
  • Optional Google Analytics 4, right inside your own dashboard
  • Auto-generated sitemaps and social-share preview cards
Built to scale

Multi-tenant from the ground up.

Project Explorer isn't a single-organization tool retrofitted to share — it's architected for it. Every organization gets a fully isolated, fully branded site and dataset on the same reliable platform.

Isolated

Every organization's data and branding stay fully separate — one platform, no cross-contamination.

Secure

Rate-limited login flows, full audit logging, and modern security headers by default, for every organization on the platform.

Ready to grow

Onboarding a new organization doesn't mean building anything new — it's already built for a network of them.

Accessibility

Built for every resident, and we can prove it.

Project Explorer exists to make local government spending and construction legible to the public. The people most affected by an inaccessible civic website are often the same people most affected by the projects it describes. Compliance is the floor for us, not the ceiling — every gap our latest accessibility review found was fixed in the product and verified live against the running application, not just documented and set aside.

40 / 42

Applicable WCAG 2.2 Level A/AA success criteria fully supported.

Zero

Success criteria with a known "Does Not Support" result.

Live-verified

Every fix confirmed against the running production site, not just source code — and where we couldn't verify something, we said so.

Frequently asked

Questions we hear before a demo.

What is Project Explorer?

Project Explorer turns your organization's project list into a branded public website and native iOS/Android app, with a live map, real budgets and timelines, and instant updates for the people who care about your projects.

Do we need IT staff or a developer to run it?

No. Branding, custom fields, statuses, and categories are all managed from the admin dashboard with no code required, and no design or development work is needed to keep the site and apps consistent with your brand.

Does Project Explorer include a mobile app?

Yes. Project Explorer has one shared mobile app, available on the App Store and Google Play. Every organization that chooses to be listed appears in it, so residents can search for and follow any of them. It is the public view only, not an admin tool, and it gives residents access to every listed project anywhere, anytime, with GPS-enabled "nearby projects" so they can see what's being built around them. If an organization wants its own app branded just for them, we can build one. It requires their own Apple and Google developer accounts, and access to those accounts so we can create and publish the app for them.

How much does Project Explorer cost?

Pricing is based on the population your community or district serves, not the size of your organization. Book a demo and we'll walk through options with you directly.

Is Project Explorer accessible to residents with disabilities?

Yes. Project Explorer fully supports 40 of 42 applicable WCAG 2.2 Level A/AA success criteria, with zero criteria in a known does-not-support state, verified against the live production site rather than just source code. The full Accessibility Conformance Report is publicly available as a PDF.

Can we control who is allowed to edit our projects?

Yes. Admins and editors have clear permission boundaries, every change is recorded in a full audit log, and staff are invited by email to set their own password.

The people who care about your projects deserve to see them.

Whatever you're building — roads and parks, renovations, developments, product rollouts — Project Explorer is how the people funding, watching, or waiting on it actually see the progress. One platform, one dashboard, one login.
